What Materials Can I Cut?
The Silhouette SD Digital Cutting Tool will cut all of your standard papers (cardstock, text weight patterned paper, vellum, mulberry) as well as all the new QuicKutz cutting media such as magnet material, cork, chipboard, plastic and metal sheets!
How Do I Cut My Designs?
The Silhouette SD Digital Cutting Tool includes updated software that you must install on a computer. Once installed, you'll lay out your word(s) with your chosen font or design using graphics/designs/clip art already on your computer. You may cut any True Type Fonts from your computer, clip art and graphics, designs from QuicKutz Digital Design Portfolio CDs or digital designs downloaded from the Silhouette Digital Store. NO - you do not need to purchase any cartridges like you do with other die cutting systems! You simply use the fonts and graphics you already have on your computer! All you need then is your cutting medium (paper, chipboard, plastic, etc) and your cutting mat (included with machine).
