Use QuicKutz Ejection Foam Refills to replace the foam on your QuicKutz dies as they wear out. QuicKutz dies come with ejection foam included and may need to be replaced over time. This foam is only present to ensure paper or other thin materials being cut do not become wedged into the die.
It is also necessary to remove the adhesive-backed ejection foam from a die to allow for a deeper cut if you wish to cut thicker materials like chipboard, cork or stamping foam. Carefully replace the original ejection foam when you are ready to cut paper again with the die, or place a new piece of ejection foam onto the die.
When replacing the ejection foam, simply peel the adhesive backing from the foam and place over the die. Place the die smoothe side up into the QuicKutz Squeeze tool and gently squeeze. Or, run the die through your QuicKutz Revolution tool and give it a spin. Be sure to do this WITHOUT paper on the die. You will hear a 'pop' sound indicating that the die has broken through the foam and is now ready to be used for cutting paper and other thin materials.
